Chamakaayisi Chindi Udaayisi is directed by A R Babu and stars Komal and Mysore-based model Nidhi Subbaiah. It is a comedy. The music for this film has been arranged by Balaji of 'Mast Maja Madi' fame. The film has Nidhi Subbaiah, Rahul, Kiran and Dinesh in the star cast.

Komal Kumar, brother of actor-turned-politician Jaggesh, had come to Sandalwood nearly 15 years ago with the hopes of making it as a hero. Though he got a few films such as 'Bevu Bella' and 'Military Mava' with him as the hero, he had to settle for supporting roles later.

Komal himself has written the story based on the Hollywood flick, 'There is something about Mary' and his brother-in-law, Srinivas is the producer.

Earlier the film was titled 'Operation Kamala', because the film is based about a youth who goes in search of his love Kamala. But, the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce rejected the title as it is in English. Moreover, it is the slogan of the Bharatiya Janatha Party in Karnataka.
