A good tale not presented well, the story is about three girls who are in different paths of life- there is Aswathy (nimisha) who is a young and beautiful sales girl at a textile shop and she knows the tricks of the game to survive in this world. However, she finds it hard to make ends meet but that does not stop her from fighting it out. Then there is Karthika (soorya) who sees her life falling apart due to a reality that she finds hard to accept. Last but not the least, there is Rohini (Sruthi) who has all the comforts in life but what she lacks is love. However, she manages to find that in the form of Praveen (vinu Mohan) but then there are challenges in that. The story takes a turn when the paths of the three girls intersect each other and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.
The director has come up with a good thought but then he was not able to conceptualize the same on the silver screen. The presentation and narrative were not upto the mark in this one. Dialogues were weak, the script had many twists, the screenplay was jammed. Music failed to make its presence felt and the cinematography was fading. Editing was also not crisp. The other departments need no mention here. Among the cast, it was Nimisha who came up with a fabulous performance while Vinu Mohan was alright, Sruti fitted the bill well, Soorya could have been better. Indrans was neat, Meghanathan was okay, Kanakalatha was plain and others did their bit as required.
The film is based on the short story 'Oru Madapravinte Kurukal' which has been written by Balakrishnan Mangad. Though the story is quite appealing, the makers failed to get it the same way on the screen. The take off is excellent and it really soars up the expectations but later on, it gets into so many twists and repetitive scenes that one tends to get annoyed. Overall, the essence of love is the main theme but it didn't have the right kind of depth to strike a chord with the audience. The film might not be able to make it for more than two weeks.
