After ‘Dulhe Raja’ director Harmesh Malhotra and Govinda come together again after three years for ‘Khullam Khulla Pyaar Karen’. Anand-Milind who has composed the music for their former film, teams up once again. The span of time however in between leaves rust on their talent and the music of the film shows why.

‘Tere Ishq Mein Pad Gaya’ sung by Sonu Nigam and Jaspinder Narula gets its title from the song from the still of a Govinda film.  It’s a frothy number that is quite enjoyable but falters in comparison to other Govinda numbers.

Another Govinda styled number comes next as ‘Ye Ladki Nahi Banaras Ka’ with Sonu Nigam and Bela Sulakhe behind the mike. The lyrics take a highflying imagination with the girl being compared to a paan.

‘Bagalwali Aankh Maare’ is the next teaser number with Udit Narayan and Jaspinder Narula coming together. Another typical number by Anand-Milind, whereas the singers attempts to rise above the ordinary with their efforts.

The title track ‘Khullam Khulla Pyaar Karen’ comes as the best number of the album. Jolly Mukherjee and Sunidhi Chauhan sing the song whole-heartedly. Both Jolly and Sunidhi are in good form. As you enjoy this Govinda styled number also get ready to hear its remix version.

This album is surely dedicated to Govinda with another teaser number offering him ample opportunity to entertain on the screen. With ‘Maare Nazar Ke Katari’ Sonu Nigam and Jaspinder Narula come together. A slow paced number narrating the situation after a boy meets the girl. The song passes muster.

‘Bachalo Bachalo’ is a fast paced and freaky track with Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik rendering the song. Another average song of the album.

Sudesh Bhosle lends his voice for the Govinda number ‘Chhalla Chhalla’. The song tells how he will make the girl his bride. Is anyone interested?

There is not a single number in the album of ‘Khullam Khulla Pyaar Karen’ that will make up to the hit charts. Forget about a hit number, songs are not even worthy of repeat hearing. Most of the songs are for the masses and more for the people of the U.P. and Bihar belt.
