The only film of super star Amitabh Bachchan with talented and versatile actor Nana Patekar. Major Balbir Singh Amitabh Bachchan, is declared dead by military but actually is alive and lives as a Dadabhai in Delhi. Captain (Nana Patekar) is appointed to search Major Balbir Singh by Major General (Kabir Bedi). The Captain tries to nab Dadabhai but fails.

On the other side Dadabhai wants to kill a corrupt and anti social politician (Danny), who is responsible for the problem he has faced in his past. Balbir Singh and his wife are having a daughter, who has to face a heart operation. This time Dadabhai exposes Balbir Singh and the captain Nana Patekar arrests him. But he realises the truth and finally they join hands and finish the anti-social element Danny.

Well-written roles and credible acting make this patriotic adventure worth it. Bachchan and Patekar come out with powerful performances.
