All eyes are on this Boney Kapoor production as it marks the debut of dream girl Hema Malini’s daughter Esha. Musically too it has raised a lot of expectations. Rajesh Roshan the man who has made ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ a hit is doing the music.
Directed by National award winner Vinay Shukla, this movie marks the debut of Sanjay Kapoor as a villain. On the whole this movie has a lot to excite the audience. Can it impress you with its music? This is something we have to look for.
So let us start our musical journey with ‘Jab Tum Muskurati Hai’. Udit Narayan and Pamela Jain render this melodious song. After listening to this track you may feel that Rajesh Roshan has not come out of his ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ hang over. So is his music. This one reminds you of ‘Pyaar Ki Kashti Mein Hai’.
It’s a party time folks! Sonu Nigam and Hema Sardesai try to get the party mood going with ‘Awara Main’. But once again the unimaginative music of Rajesh Roshan spoils the party.
If you want to wail for the wrecked party, Pamela and Shaan are there to help you. They have come up with a melodious track that helps you to soothe your wretched heart. As they urge you to be ‘Mat Ho Udhas’ you slowly and steadily come out of the pain.
Now once again festive atmosphere sets in. Wedding bell rings all around as Preeti Uttam starts crooning ‘Kahti Hai Magni Ki Angooti’.
After marriage obviously the girl has left all her loved things behind and sets out on a new journey with her husband. Sonu Nigam is giving his blessings to the newly wedded girl through the song ‘Tera Bhala Kare Bhagvan’.
Romance is blooming in the life of the newly married. Udit Narayan gives voice to the hidden emotions of the husband. He is completely bowled over by the beauty of his bride. So he croons ‘Deewana Tera Hai’. The song starts with the sound of guitar and it makes for a haunting musical piece.
When he realizes the girl’s feeling he sings aloud ‘Lapak Jhapak’. It brims with energy and happiness. Kamal Khan gives voice to this energetic pop track.
This album ends in a somber mood with Pamela Jain crooning ‘Haste Tim Tim’.
Musically this album fails to impress. Rajesh Roshan fails to recreate his ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ magic. The pick of the lot are ‘Tera Bhala Kare Bhagvan’ and ‘Lapak Jhapak’.
